How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Installing a new toner cartridge in your Brother DCP-9010CN printer is easy. Here's what to do:
- Open the top cover fully by lifting up the handle. Take out the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly from the printer.
- Push down on the lock lever to release the toner cartridge from the drum unit. Remove the used toner cartridge by pulling it out of the drum unit.
- Clean the corona wire in the drum unit by sliding the tab gently from left to right and back
- Unpack the new toner cartridge. Hold it on both sides and gently shake it back and forth to distribute the toner evenly inside. Pull off the protective cover.
- Put the new toner cartridge firmly into the drum unit until you hear it locking into place.
- Slide the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly into the printer, then close the top cover.
