How to Replace Cartridge(s)
To replace a cartridge for the Brother HL-L8360CDW, simply follow these steps:
- Make sure the printer is turned on.
- Press the front cover release button and open the front cover.
- Hold the handle of the drum unit. Pull it out until it stops.
- Hold the handle of the old toner cartridge to be replaced and gently push it away from you to unlock it. Pull it up and out of the drum unit.
- Clean the corona wire by gently sliding the green tab left to right and right to left a few times.
- Lock green tab into the home position that is flush left with the left side of the drum.
- Remove the new toner cartridge from its packaging.
- Remove protective covering on the new toner cartridge.
- Hold the handle of the new toner cartridge and slide new toner cartridge into the drum unit. Gently pull it toward you to lock it.
- Push the drum unit back in until it stops.
- Close the front cover.
