How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Replacing the toner cartridge in your Brother IntelliFAX 2850 is worry-free. Just follow these steps:
- Open the front cover by lowering it down, then remove the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly from inside the machine.
- Place the drum unit on a flat, even surface. Remove the used toner cartridge from the drum unit by pushing down the lock lever and pulling it out.
- Unwrap the new toner cartridge. Rock it gently from side to side up to six times to distribute the toner more evenly inside. After this, put the toner cartridge inside the drum unit until it is firmly in place.
- Clean the primary corona wire, then insert the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly back into the machine.
- Close the front cover.
