How to Replace Cartridge(s)
- Before replacing a toner cartridge, make sure that the machine is powered off and unplugged from the electrical outlet.
- Open the top cover of the printer.
- Take out the drum unit and the toner cartridge assembly for the toner cartridge you need to replace.
- Press the green lock level on the drum unit to release and remove the empty toner cartridge.
- Clean the primary corona wire inside the drum unit by sliding the green tab side to side a few times.
- Unbox the new toner cartridge and rock it firmly several times to spread the ink inside evenly. Then, remove its protective cover.
- Install the new toner cartridge fimly into the drum unit and wait for the green lock lever to click into place.
- Place the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly back into its corresponding slot the printer.
- Close the top cover of the machine and then you can plug it back in for use.
