Introduction
After inserting a new black print cartridge into the printer, the following message appears because the printer software has detected that the wrong printer cartridge is in the black (right)
cartridge slot of the print carriage.
"Incompatible cartridge. The black print cartridge is not compatible with this printer."

Instructions
Check to see that the installed cartridge is the correct one for your printer. The correct black ink cartridge part numbers are listed below.

If the cartridge is the proper part number, remove the ink cartridge and make sure that all of the packaging tape has been removed from the copper circuitry strip on the back of the cartridge.
Reinsert the cartridge and try printing again.
