- Officejet pro 8500XL/a plus doesn't print with this ink, in my previous printer the ink worked well. 0 people found this helpfulI had used the ink from my older HP printer and it worked well. This printer won't print if any of the inks are empty or it doesn't recognize the ink. I tried two sets of inkjet inks and the printer kept telling me that the cartridge was empty so it wouldn't print. It went through each of the colors separately. I would put in an HP cartridge in one of the colors, then it would stop printing again saying that another color was empty. I feel that I am just spending money replacing the inks one by one and in the meantime, the printer won't print.

- I DEPEND ON INKJETS.COM 0 people found this helpfulI am NOT a new customer! I have 2 HP ink jet all-in-one printers, an Epson ink “tank” all-in-one, and a new HP laser all-in-one printer. These printers “read” the chip on the cartridges just fine. Of course, these printers quickly inform me that the new cartridges are “NOT genuine HP”. I could care less as they work perfectly!! For that reason I will continue to buy from ink jets.com as I have in the past.
