- Make sure the fax is turned on, then lift open the print carriage access door located at the right side. The print carriage will slide into view.
- Once it stops, push down on the empty ink cartridge to release it, then pull it out of the slot toward you.
- Remove the new ink cartridge from its bag and, touching only the plastic, carefully pull off the sealing tape via the tab.
- Hold the new ink cartridge with the label on top, then push it into the slot at a slight upward angle. Press down firmly until the new ink cartridge snaps into place.
- Close the print carriage access door.
