- Pull the top cover release lever to open the top cover.
- Grasp the handle of the used toner cartridge and pull out to remove it.
- Remove the new toner cartridge from its protective bag.
- Hold both sides of the new toner cartridge and rock it around 5 to 6 times to distribute its contents evenly inside.
- Remove the protective shield from the toner cartridge and also pull on the orange tab to completely remove the toner seal tape.
- Align the toner cartridge with its slot and insert it into the printer.
