Here are the steps to replacing the toner cartridge on the HP Laserjet P4014:

 

  1. Open the top cover.
  2. Remove the used toner cartridge from the drum unit.
  3. Take the new toner cartridge out of the package. Gently shake it 5 or 6 times to distribute the toner evenly.
  4. Remove the shipping lock and the entire length of the shipping tape from the cartridge.
  5. Align the new cartridge with the tracks inside the printer.
  6. Insert the cartridge into the printer and close the top cover.
