How to Replace Cartridge(s)
You can properly replace the used ink cartridge in your HP OfficeJet 7210 printer with these simple steps:
- Make sure the printer is on, then lift open the cartridge access door.
- Wait until the print carriage stops at the far right side of the printer.
- Press down, then lift the latch on the used ink cartridge.
- Push down on the old cartridge to release it, then pull it out of its slot.
- Unpack the new ink cartridge. Use the pull tab to remove the plastic tape from the new cartridge.
- Slide the new ink cartridge into the empty slot, pushing it forward until it clicks into place.
- Press down on the latch until it stops, making sure the latch catches below the bottom tabs.
- Close the cartridge access door.
