How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Here are the steps to replacing a remanufactured HP Photosmart 2710 ink cartridge:
- Turn on the printer.
- Open the ink cartridge access door by lifting from the center of the printer. Wait until the carriage moves to the right side of the printer.
- Press down on the end of the empty cartridge to snap it out of the carriage, and then pull it out of its slot.
- Take the new ink cartridge out of the packaging, and gently remove the plastic tape by using the pink pull tab.
- Slide the new cartridge into the correct slot, and then push it forward until it clicks into place.
- Press down on the latch until it stops.
- Close the ink cartridge access door.
