  1. Turn the power on, then open the print cartridge door.
  2. The print carriage will move to the far right side of the device. Wait until it's idle and silent.
  3. Press down lightly on the empty ink cartridge, then pull it out of its slot.
  4. Remove the new ink cartridge from its box and packaging.
  5. Pull off the plastic sealing tape from the new cartridge using the tab. Avoid contact with the ink nozzles and copper strips.
  6. Slide the new ink cartridge into the empty slot, gently pressing down on it until it clicks in place.
