How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Here's how to replace the ink cartridge on the Kodak Easyshare 5100:
- Turn on your Kodak Easyshare 5100 printer. Note: Every time you have to replace the ink cartridges, your printer should be turned on.
- For the second step, you will have to lift the printer access door. You will find this door at the center of your printer. Wait for the print head to stop moving.
- The color and black ink cartridges are kept in the print head. Select which of the two cartridges are for replacement.
- Then, pinch the cartridge's tab. As you are holding the tab, lift the cartridge out of its position.
- Open the box of your new cartridge from Inkjets.
- Remove the protective film/cap too.
- Place the new cartridge into the newly vacated slot. Press down until it snaps into position.
- Lower the access door.
