How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Replacing the toner cartridge in your Brother DCP-9015CDW printer is easy. Here's how you do it:
- Make sure the printer is turned on, then open the top cover until it locks in the open position.
- Remove the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly from the printer. Place them in a clean, flat surface.
- Push down on the lock lever and remove the used toner cartridge out of the drum unit.
- Remove the new toner cartridge out of its protective bag. Hold both ends of the cartridge, then shake it gently from side to side a few times. This allows the toner to be distributed more evenly inside.
- Pull the protective cover of the cartridge. Carefully insert the new toner cartridge firmly into the drum unit until it locks in place. Clean the primary corona wire of the drum unit by gently sliding the tab from right to left, and back several times.
- Install the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly back inside the printer.
- Close the front cover.
