How to Replace Cartridge(s)
To replace a cartridge for the Brother DCP-J772DW, simply follow these steps:
- Open the ink cartridge cover.
- Press the lock release lever on the old ink cartridge to be replaced to release it. Remove old ink cartridge from the machine.
- Remove the new ink cartridge from its packing.
- If replacing a black ink cartridge, quickly shake it horizontally about 15 times. DO NOT SHAKE COLOR INK CARTRIDGES.
- Insert the new ink cartridge into its corresponding slot following the direction of the arrow on the label.
