How to Replace Cartridge(s)

- Let the machine cool down after using. Once everything is okay, open the front cover and pull out the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly.
- Place them on a flat, clean surface. Hold down the lock lever on the left and pull out the used toner cartridge out of the drum unit.
- Unpack the new toner cartridge. Hold its sides and gently rock it from side to side a few times to distribute the toner more evenly.
- Remove the protective cover, then insert the cartridge in the drum unit until it clicks into place. Clean the primary corona wire in the drum unit by sliding the tab gently from right to left, and back, several times.
- Install the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly in the machine, then close the front cover.
