How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Replacing the toner cartridge in your Brother FAX 8350P machine is worry-free. Just follow this handy guide:
- After using your fax machine, its internal components will be hot to the touch so wait for them to cool down a little bit.
- Open the front cover and pull out the drum unit. Place it on a flat, sturdy surface with a drop cloth to catch spills. Remove the used toner cartridge by holding down the lock lever and pulling out the cartridge from the drum unit.
- Unpack the new toner cartridge. Distribute the toner evenly inside by rocking it gently from side to side a few times. Then, remove the protective cover from the cartridge.
- Put the new toner cartridge into the drum unit until it clicks into place.
- Clean the primary corona wire in the drum unit by sliding the tab gently from right to left, and back, several times. Reinstall the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly back into the machine.
- Close the front cover.
