How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Here are 7 easy steps to replacing the toner cartridge on the Brother Intellifax 2910:
- Open the top cover.
- Hold the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly on each side, and then gently take it out of the Intellifax 2910.
- Put the drum unit assembly on a drop cloth or disposable paper to avoid spilling and scattering the toner.
- Turn the lever on the toner cartridge counterclockwise to remove it from the drum unit.
- Get the new toner cartridge package. Remove all its packing materials including the protective tape before installing.
- Insert the new cartridge into the opening on the right side of the drum unit. Then, turn the lever clockwise until it stops.
- Slide the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly back into the machine. Then, close the top cover.
