How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Here's a step-by-step guide to replacing the ink cartridge on the Brother MFC-J5625DW:
- Open the ink cartridge cover.
- Pull the lock release lever down to release the ink cartridge that needs replacement, and then remove the cartridge.
- Take the new cartridge out of the package. Turn the green release lever on the orange protective packing counterclockwise until it clicks, and then remove the orange protective packing from the new cartridge.
- Insert the new cartridge in the direction of the arrow on the label.
- Gently push the area marked "PUSH" until you hear it click into place.
- Close the ink cartridge cover.
