How to Replace Cartridge(s)
- Open the front cover of the printer and then pull out the drum unit.
- Hold down the lock lever located on the right. Then, pull the used toner cartridge out of the drum unit.
- Take the new toner cartridge out of its packaging. Spread the ink inside evenly by rocking the cartridge gently side to side.
- Remove the new toner cartridge’s protective cover.
- Insert the new toner cartridge into the drum unit and push until it clicks into place.
- Clean the drum unit’s primary corona wire by sliding the blue tab left to right a few times. Put the blue tab back into position when done.
- Reinstall the drum unit back into the machine and then close the front cover.
