How to Replace Cartridge(s)
- Turn your printer on, then open its front cover.
- Hold the drum unit by its handle and pull it out until it stops.
- To remove an old toner, grasp it by its handle, then push it toward the printer gently to unlock it. Then. pull it out of the drum unit.
- Push the latches of the corona wire cover to open it. Clean the corona wire inside the drum unit by sliding the green tab from left to right several times. Then, close the corona wire cover.
- Unpack your new toner cartridge. Shake it several times to distribute the ink inside.
- Pull off the protective cover.
- Hold the new toner cartridge by its handle, and then insert it into the empty slot in the drum unit. Give it a gentle pull towards you until it clicks into place.
- Push the drum unit back in the machine, until it stops.
- Close your printer's front cover.
