How to Replace Cartridge(s)
To replace the ink cartridge on the Brother MFC-J5520DW, follow the steps below:
- Locate the ink cartridge cover of your Brother MFC J5520DW, and open it. The ink cartridge cover is usually situated at the front portion.
- Pick the expended cartridge. Then, press its lock lever. 3. Once the lock lever is dislodged, you can now easily slide out the empty cartridge of its slot.
- Get your new cartridge and remove its protective cap and adhesive.
- Push the new cartridge in until it securely latches into the slot.
- Lock it in place by using the lock lever.
- If the other cartridge needs to be replaced as well, follow again steps 2 to 5.
- Then, close the cartridge cover.
