How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Replace the ink cartridge on the Brother MFC-J6710DW with these simple steps:
- Open the ink cartridge cover of your MFC-J6710DW.
- To remove the used ink cartridge from the printer, simply press down to unlock the release lever, and then pull the cartridge out.
- Remove the replacement ink cartridge from its protective box and bag.
- Rotate the green knob on the orange protective cap to release the vacuum seal.
- Install the new cartridge into the empty slot. Make sure that the color on the label of the cartridge matches the color on the slot.
- Push the cartridge in to ensure it is properly seated.
- Close the ink cartridge cover.
