How to Replace Cartridge(s)
These easy steps will help you in replacing the ink cartridge on the Brother MFC-J6720DW:
- Open the ink cartridge cover.
- To remove the old ink cartridge from the MFC-J6720DW, press the lock release lever.
- Remove the replacement ink cartridge from its packaging.
- Make sure to release the vacuum seal by rotating the green release lever on the orange protective packing in a counterclockwise direction. Then, remove the orange protective packing and discard it.
- Install the ink cartridge into the empty cartridge slot, and lock it into place by pressing the area marked "PUSH".
- Close the ink cartridge cover. The machine will automatically reset the ink dot counter.
