Frequently Asked Questions

I have already installed the Brother LC105C Compatible Cyan Super High-Yield Ink Cartridge into my Brother MFC-J6720DW. But the touchscreen shows a "No Ink Cartridge" message after the installation. What to do?

When your touchscreen shows a "No Ink Cartridge" message, it means an ink cartridge is incorrectly installed. Remove the ink cartridge and reinstall it properly, making sure to push the cartridge in until it locks into place.

Why is it necessary to replace the ink cartridge while there's still remaining ink inside?

You must replace the ink cartridge even if some ink remains to prevent air from drying out and causing damage to the printhead assembly.

The printed pages have horizontal lines in the text and graphics. Does this mean I need to replace the ink cartridges soon?

Not necessarily. Horizontal lines in the text and graphics could just be due to clogged printhead nozzles. Try cleaning the printhead first to fix the issue. If this does not work, then you may replace the cartridges.
