How to Replace Cartridge(s)
- Power on the machine and then open the front cover.
- Pull out the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly from the printer.
- Press down the green lock lever to release the empty toner cartridge. Then, remove the cartridge from the drum unit.
- Take the new toner cartridge out of its packaging and remove its protective cover.
- Install the new toner cartridge into the drum unit and gently push until it locks into place.
- Clean the corona wire inside the drum unit by carefully sliding the green tab left and right several times.
- Place the tone cartridge and drum unit assembly back into the printer.
- Close the front cover of the machine.
