How to Replace Cartridge(s)
- Power on the machine and open the front cover.
- Remove the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly from the printer.
- Press the green lock lever and remove the empty toner cartridge out of the drum unit.
- Take the new toner cartridge out of its packaging and remove its protective cover.
- Install the new toner cartridge firmly into the drum unit and push until you hear it lock into place.
- Clean the corona wire inside the drum unit by gently siding the green tab side to side several times.
- Place the toner cartridge assembly and drum unit back into the printer.
- Close the front cover of the machine.
