Replacing a toner cartridge for your Canon imageCLASS MF5850DN laser printer is easy! Just follow these steps:

  1. Open the printer front cover.
  2. Pull out the toner cartridge tray.
  3. Pull old toner cartridge up and out of the machine.
  4. Remove new toner cartridge from packaging. Remove protective covering from the new toner cartridge.
  5. Shake new toner cartridge gently about five or six times to distribute toner insider evenly.
  6. Be careful not to touch the surface of the drum located at the bottom of a toner cartridge.
  7. Insert the new toner cartridge into the tray.
  8. Push toner cartridge tray back into the printer.
  9. Close the printer front cover.
