How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Here's how to install a new ink cartridge in your Canon Pixma iP4850 printer:
- Flip down the front cover, then open the top cover to access the print cartridge holder—it will automatically slide to the left side of the printer.
- Once it stops, lift up the front tab of the ink cartridge you want to replace, then remove it by pulling it out of its slot.
- Take out the new ink cartridge from its packaging, then pull out the sealing tape completely. Make sure to hold it only by its plastic body.
- Slide the new ink cartridge into the slot at a slight angle, then press down until it clicks into place.
- Close the top cover.
