To replace the Canon PIXMA iP4920 ink cartridge, follow the steps below:

Before replacing the ink cartridges ofo your Canon printer, make sure that your device is in operation or turned on. Once you've confirmed it is switched on, you can now open the top cover of your Canon PIXMA iP4920. You can do this by simply lifting the cover up.
Determine the cartridge color that needs to be replaced.
Push the front latch of the empty cartridge. Once released, take it out of its slot.
Throw out the old cartridge. Don't touch the contacts to prevent staining your hands with ink.
Take your new cartridge. Remove the cap and protective adhesive strip. Then, slide it into the slot. Push down to secure it in place.
How about the other cartridge? How do you remove it? Simply repeats steps 2 to 4.
Lower the top cover.
