How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Change the toner cartridge on the Canon Pixma MG7700 with these steps:
- Ensure that the power is turned on.
- Hold each side of the paper output tray and lightly open it. Then, lift the operation panel up.
- Open the operation panel until it stops. Wait until the printhead holder moves to the replacement position.
- Remove the old ink cartridge with the lamp flashing fast. Then, push the tab and lift the ink cartridge to remove.
- Take the new ink cartridge out of its bag, and remove the orange tape from the ink cartridge.
- Hold the ink cartridge with the orange protective cap.
- Lift the tab on the orange protective cap to remove it off gently.
- Insert the front end of the ink cartridge into the printhead at a slant.
- Press on the top of the cartridge until it snaps firmly into place.
- Close the operation panel gently.
