- Lift the ink cartridge lock lever
- Remove the old ink cartridge by pulling it straight out
- Take the new cartridge out of its packaging
- Remove the protective tape, being careful not to touch the copper contacts or ink nozzles
- Insert the new cartridge into the correct slot, matching the label color
- Push down on the cartridge until it clicks into place
- Lower the ink cartridge lock lever
