How to Replace Cartridge(s)

Here's how to install the ink cartridges on the Canon PIXMA MP750:


  1. Press the Open Button to open the Paper Output Tray, and then open the scanning unit.
  2. Open the two inner covers and wait until the printhead moves to the center of the printer.
  3. Press the tab on the ink cartridge that needs replacement and lift it straight up to remove it from the printer.
  4. Unpack the new ink cartridge and remove its orange-colored protective film and protective cap.
  5. Insert the new cartridge on the empty slot and push it in until it locks into place.
  6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 if you need to replace other color ink cartridges.
  7. Close the inner covers and the scanning unit.
