How to Replace Cartridge(s)

Replace ink cartridges for your Canon PIXMA Pro 6000 printer is easy! Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Make sure printer is turned on.
  2. Open printer cover and wait for ink cartridge carriage to move to the center.
  3. Release old ink cartridge by pressing on its attached tab at the bottom
  4. Remove old ink cartridge by pulling it out.
  5. Remove new ink cartridge from packaging. Remove protective seal from the new ink cartridge.
  6. Insert a new ink cartridge into the corresponding slot at an angle, the labeled side facing up.
  7. Press bottom of new ink cartridge near the attached tab to secure in place.
  8. Close printer cover.
