Here are the steps to replacing the ink cartridge on the Canon PIXMA TS6220:
- Turn on your Canon PIXMA TS6220.
- Open the scanning unit and wait until the printhead holder stops completely.
- Press the release tab to remove the used ink cartridge.
- Take the new ink cartridge out of the package and remove the protective tape and protective film.
- Raise the tab on the orange protective cap, and then remove it.
- Insert the ink cartridge at a slant into the printhead holder.
- Push down on the cartridge until it snaps into place.
- Close the scanning unit.
