Frequently Asked Questions

I'm starting to get faded printouts. Do I have to replace the toner cartridge already?

Not necessarily. When printouts start to fade, it means your Dell Laser Series 5230N is running low on toner. You may continue to print by redistributing the remaining toner inside the cartridge.

I already tried shaking the old cartridge to redistribute the remaining toner inside the cartridge, but the print quality is still unacceptable. What to do?

If after redistributing the remaining toner inside the cartridge no longer improves the print quality, then replace the toner cartridge with a new one.
