Here are the steps to removing and installing a toner cartridge into the Dell Laser W5300N:

  1. First, you must open the lower door and the upper door. There are two latches at the side of the printer. Press them to open these doors so you can access the old toner cartridge.
  2. Hold the old cartridge by the handle and pull it out towards you to remove it from the printer.
  3. Unpack the new toner cartridge. There are tabs on each side of the plastic strap. Pull these tabs to remove the packaging foam from the new cartridge.
  4. Shake the new cartridge gently to distribute the toner inside.
  5. Slide the new cartridge into the printer. Push it all the way in until it snaps into place.
  6. Close the upper door and the lower door. Then, turn on your W5300N.
