How to Replace Cartridge(s)

Replacing ribbon cartridges for the Epson TM-U150 is easy. Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Make sure printer is turned off.
  2. Open printer cover to upright position. Pull it up to remove it.
  3. Make sure print head is in the replacement position before continuing.
  4. Remove new ribbon cartridge from packaging.
  5. Turn ribbon tightening knob in the direction of the arrow to remove slack from the ribbon for easier installation.
  6. Insert new ribbon cartridge into printer.
  7. Press ribbon cartridge firmly at both side to insert plastic hooks into printer slots.
  8. Use a pointed object, like a ball-point pen, to guide the ribbon between the ribbon guide and the print head.
  9. Turn ribbon-tightening knob again in the direction of the arrow to straighten the ribbon and feed it into place.
  10. Place printer cover back and close.
