Plug your printer to a power supply. Then, press down its power button to turn on. If you already had your device in power mode, you can skip this step.
Place your fingers into the left slot of the printer and pull upwards. This will ease raising the devices scanner unit.
Find the cartridge that you need to change. Then, squeeze and lift upwards to remove it from its slot. Repeat this step if there are other cartridges for replacement.
Gently shake your new cartridge. Then, open its packaging and remove its yellow tape. Do not touch the contacts. Put the new cartridge in. Make sure to firmly push it down to lock in place. You can now close the scanner.
