How To Replace Cartridge(s)

Turn on the printer by pressing the power button, and then lower the output tray.
Reach inside the machine, grasp the handle, and then lower the ink cartridge access door. Wait until the carriage goes idle and silent before you proceed.
Gently press down on the used ink cartridge to release it from its slot and then remove it from the printer.
Unpack the new ink cartridge and remove its plastic tape. Remember not to touch the copper-colored contacts or the ink nozzles to avoid ink failure and faulty electrical connections after you install them.
Insert the new ink cartridge into its slot in the printer and push until it clicks into place. Repeat this process if you are replacing more than one cartridge.
Close the ink cartridge access door when you’re finished.
