How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Here's how to replace the ink cartridge on the HP Deskjet 1111:
- Turn on your HP Deskjet 1111
- Lower the cartridge access door. Don't proceed to step 3 if the cartridge carriage hasn't moved to the center,
- Once the carriage is at the center, you can now access the cartridges. To release a cartridge from its position, simply push the cartridge down. Once it is dislodged from its placement, pull it towards you.
- Prepare the new ink cartridge for installation.
- Put the cartridge into the vacated slot. You will know it's in place when you hear it click in place.
- Raise the cartridge access door to close.
