How to Replace Cartridge(s)

Replacing ink cartridges for the HP Deskjet 1120cse is easy. Just follow these steps:

  1. Make sure printer is turned on.
  2. Open top cover. This will move the print cartridge carriage to the center of the printer.
  3. Snap up carriage latch for top of ink cartridge to be replaced.
  4. Remove old ink cartridge by lifting it out of the carriage.
  5. Remove new ink cartridge from packaging. Remove protective covering on new ink cartridge.
  6. Insert new ink cartridge into corresponding carriage slot.
  7. Close the latch. Latch is fully closed when you hear a click.
  8. Close the top cover. This will move the print cartridge cradle to the right side of the printer.
