How to Replace Cartridge(s)
To replace ink cartridges for the HP Deskjet 6830v, just follow these easy steps:
- Make sure the printer is turned on.
- Load plain, white A4- or letter-sized paper.
- Open the printer cover. Wait for the print cartridge cradle to be idle and silent before continuing.
- Lift the latch for the ink cartridge to be replaced and pull out the old ink cartridge out of its slot.
- Remove new ink cartridge from packaging. Remove protective covering on new ink cartridge.
- Insert new ink cartridge into its corresponding slot, copper strips at the bottom and facing the printer.
- Close the print cartridge latch. Make sure it snaps into place.
- Close the printer cover. Printer automatically prints calibration page.
