How to Replace Cartridge(s)
To replace ink cartridges for the HP Deskjet 880, simply follow these easy steps:
- Make sure printer is turned on.
- Open top cover. This will move the ink cartridge cradle as well to an accessible position.
- Snap up cradle latch on top of old ink cartridge to release it.
- Remove old ink cartridge from slot.
- Remove new ink cartridge from packaging. Remove protective covering from new ink cartridge.
- Place new ink cartridge into empty slot and push down to secure it.
- Close the latch until you hear a click. You may feel some resistance when closing the latch, but don't worry. This is normal and can be resolved by applying a bit of pressure to close the latch.
- Close the top cover.
