Frequently Asked Questions

Can I continue to print with the HP Deskjet D1420 when one of the ink cartridges is removed?

Yes. The HP Deskjet D1420 is designed to operate even with only one ink cartridge through the ink-backup mode.

I just replaced the black ink cartridge, but the printer cannot detect it. What could be the problem?

When the newly installed cartridge is not recognized by the printer, it could be that the plastic tape still covers the ink cartridge contacts. Try removing the cartridge from the printer and check if the plastic tape is still intact. Remove it if necessary.

Can I pay via money order?

Yes. But take note that this payment option is only available for mail-in orders.
