How to Replace Cartridge(s)

Follow the steps below to change the ink cartridge on the HP Deskjet D1455:

 

  1. Turn on the Deskjet D1455.
  2. Open the printer lid and wait until the carriage moves to the center of the printer.
  3. Press down on the old ink cartridge to release it, and then remove it from the printer.
  4. Take the new ink cartridge out of the package and use the pink pull tab to remove its sealing tape.
  5. Hold the cartridge with the front of the cartridge pointed up slightly, and then insert it into the correct slot.
  6. Push the new cartridge firmly until it locks into place.
  7. Close the printer lid.
