How to Replace Cartridge(s)
- Turn your printer on, then open the print cartridge access door. Wait for the carriage to move to the right side.
- To remove a old cartridge, press down on it then slide it out of its slot.
- Load a letter or A4 plain, white paper in the tray.
- Unpack your new cartridge, then remove the plastic tape by pulling on the tab.
- To install the new cartridge, slide it in its corresponding slot at a slightly upward angle. Push it in, until it snaps into place.
- Close your printer's access door, and follow the alignment process.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the tri-color and photo ink?
Your printer uses the tri-color and black inks to print standard printing jobs. However, if you need high-quality photos, you would have to swap the black ink with the photo ink.
How long can I keep extra cartridges in storage?
Our cartridges have a shelf life of 18 to 24 months. To make sure they don't dry up before then, keep them in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight.
How soon can I expect my order to arrive?
