How To Replace Cartridge

Follow these simple steps to replacing the ink cartridge on the HP Deskjet F300:

Press the 'On' button to turn on the printer.
Open the carriage access door and wait for the carriage to move to the center of the printer.
Press down lightly on the ink cartridge to be replaced and pull it out of its slot.
Remove the new ink cartridge from the packaging, and use the pink pull tab to remove the plastic tape.
Slide the new cartridge into the slot, and gently push it until it locks into place.
Close the carriage access door.
