How to Replace Cartridge(s)
- Turn your printer on.
- Open the print cartridge door. Wait until the carriage moves to the right side of the printer.
- To remove an old cartridge, press down on it, then pull it towards you.
- Unpack your new cartridge, and pull the tab to remove the plastic tape.
- Insert the new cartridge into its corresponding slot, and push until you hear it click into place.
- Close your printer’s cartridge door.

No, you don’t. You only need to replace the cartridge that your printer warns you is running low. However, to keep the quality good, make sure that both cartridges have sufficient ink in them.
