How to Replace Cartridge(s)

Replacing the toner cartridge in your HP LaserJet Enterprise M527z is simpler and more worry-free with these easy steps:

  1. Push the top cover release button located on the printer's left side, then open the front cover.
  2. Reach in and grasp the handle of the used toner cartridge. Pull it out of the printer.
  3. Remove the new toner cartridge from its packaging, then hold it level using both hands. Gently rock the cartridge back and forth up to six times to distribute the toner more evenly inside.
